Chosen Solution Hello, My IPhone 6 has broken trails and bought a new board, but I have a question about the transplant of the A8 CPU, this has 2 parts and i realy need to remove the top section or i can remove the complet CPU ? Thanks!!! Just to be clear, you have to move more than the CPU in order to do a proper transplant. The CPU/NAND/Baseband and EEPROM, along with the TouchID sensor need to be moved over to a host board if you want to retain your data....

Chosen Solution Well i don’t know if you can fix this but as I was watching and taking a bath (I know stupid idea) my phone fell in the water because it slipped of the water and it was still alive but I couldn’t control it and I to check if the battery was ok,and it was but my back cover was kinda broke (It was plastic) and I could see it that I got so lucky that I could of died because the phone was still on and then I inmidiently left the bath and dyed it and when I dried it, I couldn’t touch the screen so someone please help me solve this problem, Thank You...

Chosen Solution I keep trying to activate iPhone did everything from hard reset to plug into iTunes over and over… The iPhone take you through all the activation steps to set up to the welcome to iPhone. I press get started and iPhone then goes inside the iPhone for like one second then black out goes back to Hello screen and then Activation Required pops on screen.. On iTunes it says iPhone can’t be activated try again later....

I have since replaced it with a 3G, but want to see whether its worth fixing the 1G. If I plug it in to a dual ac/usb plug it powers up and seems fine except for the back button. Once I unplug it, it automatically powers down....

Chosen Solution I have a 32gb Iphone 7 and it is linked with apple id. A friend of mine have a 128gb motherboard of iphone 7. If i buy that board from him and replace the old board with new one. Chosen Solution I have just received a second replacement battery. Applying a meter to the poles on the battery produce a reading of 2.13v dc. The battery’s specs 11.4v. Should I bother to install it? The batteries state when shipped is about 1/3 charged, so I wouldn’t worry. But you don’t need to glue it in before testing it installed. I would also use a USB-C power meter to monitor things and make sure you are using the proper charger and USB cable as the one Apple ships with the charger has larger gage wires for the power lines....

Chosen Solution I’m currently using Macbook Pro Retina 15" Late 2013. I just replaced the battery that I ordered from this site. Followed every step in the tutorial. Anyway im looking into buying the screen replacement and I see that the finger print sensor is glued to the bottom of the Display. I was wondering does Ifixit’s screen replacement come with a finger print sensor pre-glued or do I have to try find one myself? Any help would be appreciated....

Chosen Solution after replacing the power supply in my vizio tv, everything works, but the screen is too dark… and theres a faint crackling noise that i think is coming from both backlights im assuming ive plugged something in backwards, or perhaps the new power supply i got was bad? im not sure where to turn now i cant find the model number but the serial number is: VIZIO VO47L FHDTV10A thanks in advance for any answers...

I tested and the sound still works. everything works in the background. but it just goes back after a few seconds. the light indicating it’s on stays on. but I have no clue what I’m doing. Since I’m unable to run Windows 11 on this machine, I’m wondering if it would be worth my time to swap out the HDD for an SSD? If you can get the SSD cheap enough, maybe - just make sure you remove it if you retire the system if it’s still reasonably new. I’m the family sysadmin, and there’s 3 machines which will not run Win11, so I’m having them replaced ASAP- but not at the pace I’d like (2023-2024 target, 2022 dream window)....

You also want to let us know if you have sound. See if you can get your menu display to show, just not a TV picture. If so then start by shining a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen at a channel where you have sound....

Chosen Solution I have a couple repair shops, and only one of them seems to be having an issue with iPhone 7 and 7 Plus screen replacements. One store is reporting that on any version of iOS 11 after replacing the screen they can’t get the phone to go past the Apple logo on boot. 8 have tried this several times myself but I️ can’t seem to replicate the problem. The store says that it happens on any screen except full original ones....

After a long time of going back and forth to the Apple Store I was able to order the replacement ram access door, it was going to cost me about $35 & they would install it for free under warranty. The Apple Store just canceled my order for a replacement Ram Access Door, due to Covid 19....

Chosen Solution Greatnigs! First question here. So, as you can see on picture there is a problem with lcd. I just bought new screen, reconnect sepeaker and camera. Can it be problem with connectors? Is any way to repair this? I’d try another display. It looks like a bad display to me. I’ve seen white and multi colored lines before. Red is new to me, but I’d bet it’s the display itself....
