Chosen Solution Having a weird problem. Replaced the screen on a 6s last night. At first, the phone powered up and would work fine, however every 1-3 minutes, it would randomly restart. Took the screen apart, check connections and looked for damage, all appeared ok (no LSD, flex cables ok, ive been fixing screens for a while). Put it back together, then, the screen turned on, worked fine (no restarting), however the touch functions would not work....
Chosen Solution My A1261 has been acting very strange lately. Last night, I disassembled the machine, dusted it, cleaned the logic board with isopropanol, and reapplied the thermal paste. After reassembling it, it would not turn on, so I started to disassemble it again, to the point where I removed the keyboard. Then I called it a night and went to bed. This morning, I reassembled it to the point where I plugged the keyboard back in, and it booted with no issues, bringing me to the boot disk selection screen when I held OPTION....

Chosen Solution I took apart my son’s xbox 360 to replace the DVD drive laser and when I went to put it back together I found this part but don’t remember taking it off and h ave no idea where it goes? Chosen Solution It turns on but after 2 secs turns off Have you tried a factory reset? Sounds as if it’s trying to save itself from overload. Do this by putting the unit on standby mode, while pressing enter, push the power button, display should say “RESET (NO)”. Press preset to select RESET Press enter on front Press enter to confirm. Chosen Solution A piece of pencil broke of inside engine cylinder. How to remove? If you are talking wooden/graphite pencil I would not be too concerned, it will leave via the exhaust port pretty quickly with the engine running. The materials in a pencil are not hard enough to cause any damage. I don’t believe the wedge heads of a Corvair engine pose any risk of piston energy being transferred to the actual valve heads either....
Chosen Solution I broke the digitizer and LCD on my S7. I was able to get another phone and transfer my account to it. However, there were some apps that I lost data from and I lost my home screens. I kept my phone charged until I could order a replacement screen assembly. Before I replaced the screen assembly, I used the recovery menu to turn the phone off. I was able to replace new screen/digitizer assembly and put the phone back together....
Chosen Solution I replaced my Apple Watch 2 screen with a screen I got from Ifixit. I pair the watch with my phone it is paired for a moment but then get the message that the pairing failed ??? Any ideas? I’ve been having a lot of issues with this as well (Series 2 iWatch). Trying to restart the phone and iWatch but to no avail. I think switching out the screen will help but in my situation the old screen was non functional (the display was completely out)....

Chosen Solution I replaced screen, now phone will not start up, when i plug it in it vibrates continuously, but screen won’t come on. iTunes recognises it. the power on/off button needs replacing, but did not affect operation previously to screen change (screen was cracked, but still working). I have tried all connections 3 times and can’t see anything wrong. I have tried 2 screens on the the first one did not work and i thought it was faulty, so I used another screen, I connected it all up to check the screen would work, before i screwed it all back together, it came on and worked fine, so I screwed it all down and now it won’t work, just vibrates when plugged in....
Chosen Solution Hi, I after I replaced my screen at a mechanist at mall, he screen doesn’t work properly so I ordered replacement screen from iFixit. After I installed iFixit’s screen, it also risen too much and I had to press hard on the screen to activate 3D Touch. I talked with a customer representative and got a replacement, but it has the same problem. I compared my phone with my friend’s iPhone 7 plus and significantly feel the screen is risen too much on the right sight....

The phone had suffered worse falls than that and it survived them. Chosen Solution Is there a way to teardown for screen replacement with out the use of heat gun to unstick qlue hairdryer works as well as a hot air gun or these guys sell a microwavable sack thing that you microwave and is designed for resting on the screen to melt the glue i think its called an iopener, but really you just need some heat to soften the glue a hot water bottle would work just as well as long as you make sure its dry...
