Chosen Solution Software update has completely locked up my LG Stylo 2 phone & have pulled the battery out & replaced it several times, turned it off & let it stay off until the battery drained down, recharged it & still can NOT get past the message “Unfortunately, Software Update has stopped.” & clicking on the OK has done NOTHING. Even took it to Boost & they said “buy a new phone…” but this phone was bought new Jan 2017 & I have been in the store numerous times with this phone going totally dead…the manager taking the battery out, replacing it then it starts back up…only to die again....

Chosen Solution so i purchased a motorcycle and little did i know the person prior had never put oil into the motorcycle and as I was riding home it died two times. I got off the motorcycle and examined and came to the conclusion the motorcycle was bone dry on oil. It had been ran 500 miles and the bike requires more oil every 300 so im assuming it was 200 miles overdue....

Have you checked whether the DC-In jack is OK and that is not loose from the DC power board or is internally faulty? Hi @ikhalil , Check your mobile phone service provider’s coverage map to see where 2G is located. (go to their website to find it). A lot of providers are disconnecting 2G to use the frequency for 4G. Depending on your country of course....

Chosen Solution So, the new battery seems to be working okay, however now my iPhone 3G spontaneously freezes and requires hard reset to restart, it sometimes restores sometimes doesn’t, but eventually it freezes again and has to have a hard reset again. Anyone have any idea whats wrong here? have you tried the old battery to see if it keeps the same behaviour? If it does not, contact your vendor and get a new battery....

Chosen Solution Which method is better for a glass only repair. Try and remove the LCD and then clamp it down on my heat plate and use the wire to split. or Same process as the previous samsungs, remove the glass with the LCD in the frame. 1st method - concerned about breaking the lcd 2nd method - concerned about LOCA seeping into the logic board behind. don’t us the glass only replacement, its a hack repair and it mostly fail....

Chosen Solution So, someone gifted my neighbor’s kid a 46 inch tv toshiba 46L5200U but then kind of realized why the reason it was gifted… the screen turns on every time but then flickers vigorously then turns black, sound still works. Checked the a flashlight and was not able to find any shadows moving or any silhouettes, so just wanting to verify which part i should order. Chosen Solution My screen on my iPad cracked so I replaced the outer digitizer however the touch doesn’t work. The home button works fine. I tried 2 different ones and still have the same problem. If I put the old cracked one one, the touch works fine which leads me to believe the connector is fine. Any ideas? I attached some pics. Where are you getting your parts from? Could be low quality replacements....

Chosen Solution So far I have not found digitizers online to replace a cracked screen. But I did find: $20 Glass Screen $200 Full LCD/Glass/Digitizer Can I make the $20 dollar option work? Can a digitizer be removed from one glass screen and placed on another? Can I expect glass screens with digitizers to come out sometime soon, or do I have to fork out the $200 for the complete part?...

Chosen Solution Has anyone found out any info about replacing the Apple iPhone 8 Front glass. Last I checked Apple had made it that if you install a non OEM screen and updates their phone, it will brick there phone. I have not been fixing any iPhone 8’s or iPhone x’s due to this. Chosen Solution I have a iphone 6S which is having defect in the charging port .If i replaced the charging port,whether there would be any issuses in Touch ID or any other parts?? The charging port will not have an effect on touch ID as the home button is connected via the screen and not the charging port. All should be fine as long as the replacement charging port is not faulty....

Chosen Solution There is a scratch on the logic board that I think this is why the display is black is the anyway to fix the scratch @superfixer334 only by gently (using a scalpel; or similar tool) and carefully scraping the masking of the trace. Once the copper is exposed (careful those are all thin layers) solder a piece of wire across the severed trace, reconnecting both ends. Then cover the jumper with a non-conductive paint....

Chosen Solution The screen on my Mac Pro touch comes on when you open the lid, it then goes off when you open the lid fully to the normal 90 degree angle. The keyboard stays on, the touch bar stays on as well, only the screen goes off. I have to use the laptop at a 45 degree angle if I need to do work on it. Please help Time to visit the Apple Store!...
