Chosen Solution I got this XG-1 untested with a 50mm 1:1.7 SR lens and have confirmed it works, but I had to make a minor adjustment to the film advance as the alignment was just a bit off. Other than that, it worked great at first after adjusting the shutter; I think my tests did it, or it was tripped up and I got it super cheap over that alone. I did a film test with a suspect roll of Kodak Gold 200 as it was not film tested (I didn’t trust random film, specially from a vintage SLR)....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone, I bought a brand new screen, I replaced it and when I fit the screen into it’s place the small light appears on the top as if someone pushing that part from behind It’s really visible everywhere and It drives me crazy. I compared this part with the one on original screen and it looks like it’s a little bit thicker on the new one. I’m not sure whether this makes the issue, but if I carefully push that part, the same corner I marked, that watermark appears on the screen, so when the screen is connected to logic board but not fully assembled there’s no light up there, but when I fit it in phone it appears immediately....

Chosen Solution I was having display issues, the screen was hanging on the white startup screen and then eventually over time went all black on startup, but the disks and fans were spinning so I took it to Apple and they kept it for a few days and then came back with a diagnosis of a failing video card, suggesting replacement. I declined given the price and took the unit home....

You can buy a complete unit online (and just swap out the lid and keep the reballed CPU Socket for another day. You’ll see just how easy it is to remove the lid when you get you new one, but once all the chaff is out of the way, just open the retainer bar 1/2 way and slide it half way out to the left....

Chosen Solution I have 5 iMacs that seem to need their wifi card replaced. They are late 2009/2010 iMacs with wifi card 825-7360. Is there some reason I can’t use the newer 607-7211 cards. I am award that the older one only has the gray and black connections, and the newer one has a third connector. But if I use two of the three connectors, isn’t it the same thing? The reason I ask is that the older wifi card has failed, and although I can find used ones, wouldn’t I be better off with the newer one, even if I don’t use all the connectors?...

Chosen Solution Serpentine belt shredded it self. I was able to replaced it myself. But now I have water coming out all over the ground. It wasn’t leaking before I replaced the belt. Any idea what it could be? You need to prove where the water is coming from, it happens that when you replace a belt that the extra good tension is on the water pump, the bearing shaft seal will start to leak but make sure where the leak is coming from, fix that and your good, did you accidently put pressure on a hose and tear the hose a little?...

Chosen Solution floor rotation mechanism isn’t working For some reason the roller brush isn’t working but everything else is. I took it apart and it seems to be running ok but very little sucking seems to be very little. I took everything apart and cleaned out everything and it still the roller don’t move and the suction is very little, confused not sure at this point what to do.

Chosen Solution I have 5 LED samsung tv with same problem , no power at all…after i checked main board i found the microcontroller WT61P808 has shorted…i purchased new one from China and installed it but the tv still no power….any solution please!!! Chosen Solution tablet was dropped and now screen will not turn on. I can charge it ,the lights on the bottom turn on and I hear the notifications. @dcvolk most likely a broken LCD or a disconnected cable. Let us know the exact model so we can help you with the replacement of the LCD.

Chosen Solution After replacing my IPhone XS screen with the LCD option from IFIXIT the phone screen only seems to work after the phone has been restarted, not after pressing the power button. The phone remains on, as switching it from silent mode to unsilent mode creates a vibration. So the only way that I am able to use the phone at the moment is by doing a forced restart each time....

I plugged it in again it came on to the red battery charging sign then went back off and I clicked the home a power button and still nothing. Chosen Solution My phone dropped, top half only, into some water for maybe 1 second on the 23rd. I quickly cut it off and dried it off and kept it up in the same direction so that any potential water would not continue further into the phone. Next day I cut it on and everything seemed fine except the camera appeared to still have some moisture stuck behind the lens and the touch was spazzing out....

Hi @gmandlate , You said that the power went off with the TV on. Have you checked if the fuse and surge suppressor on the power board a still both OK and not blown? Power outages and then later power restoration can sometimes cause surges which can affect electronics....

Customers contact their carriers and once they approve unlocking, they send the command to Apple, Apple pushes a policy update to your phone OTA or next time you activate the phone. Everything is encrypted and pretty much hack proof as of now....
