The SIM card needs to be inserted into the 3G dongle, which presumably you’d have to buy separately, unless you already have one. There is no provision to install it into the tablet

In system profiler, there used to be a tab called “Hardware” with the logo being a picture of a PowerPC CPU and would give you some options on controlling system cache, now, after reinstalling the OS, it’s gone. I used the same install disks as the ones that I used to install tiger a few years back on the machine....
Chosen Solution I have my monitor for 2 years now, and it can display 1080p resolution. But after recently, multiple brownouts happened in my area in the same day. After the last brownout, the monitor only shows no signal after the bios logo. Since I can still access, and display the bios, I boot up the computer to safe mode, and it reaches to the desktop with display. If I shut it off, it charges fine (but slow), but I use it enough that I charge it a couple times a day.. so shutting it off means I miss calls mid-day. Chosen Solution To rule out a software problem (which is always a good thing to do before starting to replace components), first restore the iPhone cleanly from dfu mode using iTunes (there are many guides for this available on YouTube, search for iPhone DFU mode). Then, to rule out a problem in your profile, don’t restore anything from a backup. This will leave the iPhone as clean as possible, as if it left the factory (from a software point of view)....

I replaced the broken LCD with the screen with a broken glass and it worked fine. I did not turn either phone off before doing so. I replaced the broken glass back onto the original phone, and now I am getting nothing to the screen....
Chosen Solution I’ve reviewed the process for replacing the iphone 8’s battery. It looks very similar to the 6 and 6S i’ve done before. But there is a catch: My rear glass is shattered. Can I still replace the battery? Or will trying to remove the battery/battery adhesive end up destroying the glass? Is the battery adhesive what is holding the glass together right now? The previous phones I’ve opened for battery swaps were all undamaged, or only had front screen damage....
Chosen Solution Motherboard is “SM-960U W47”. Ordered a replacement kit from IFixIt for my S9 and the replacement battery is about 3mm larger on all sides than the original. I bought this used phone from Backmarket so the “original” battery may not be. It failed to take a charge after only 3 months of use. Any ideas out there? Could be a defective battery but I’m wondering why it was sold on the backmarket....
