Chosen Solution Hi i have this problem with my samsung tv (serial number in the title) that it keeps restarting approx every 20 sec ( turns off and on by itself). I have checked the remote(removed batteries) but still the same. Cant perform a software update because the tv restarts too frequently. I measured the PPBUS_G3H rail when the charger is plugged and I get 0.5V, I am getting that this is not normal since it should be around 12.6V. Chosen Solution I updated my Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900 to Android lollipop 5.0 (Russian version and then Indian version). I had the problem with both updates, the Action Memo opens, I write anything with the S pen, I try to recognise it, the application keeps “recognising” for at least 5 minutes, then it says “recognition failed” or it just forces close. The thing is, during the recognition, the phone is just dead, I can’t do anything with it because the action memo window is ALWAYS on top of all other windows, even if I press the home button....

Chosen Solution i have been in electronics for over 22 years. my soldering is perfect. i understand the ram in a macbook air is soldered. i would like to replace the 2 gig chips with 4 gig or even 8 gig, will the macbook air hardware recognize the additional memory? if yes, other than warrenty issues; why would ifixit team not take a chance to un-solder the chips? Some people are saying that I should never spread the thermal paste after I put a drop onto the parts and that instead I should just put a drop of the thermal paste and just put the heat sink on top, leaving it alone. Chosen Solution Whirlpool GS5SHAXNB02 side-by-side fridge. The freezer side maintains a temp of about 50°. The evaporator coils (cooling) have NO frost on them, only the very top line where the thermostat clips on is frosted. The condenser fan sounds like it is running, what now? Great pic. It says a lot! The issue is in the sealed system. Either there is a refgerant leak, a restriction in the flow of refrigerant or the compressor isn’t pumping properly....

Also, not quite sure which Tab S you have. I only know the 8.4 and 10.5. Chosen Solution I need to replace the Micro USB with USB type C. The instruction’s I found all show a lock on the USB adapter, which mine does not have. How do I remove the Micro USB adapter? Apparently, this model is from 2015 and it’s not possible to replace the USB connector.

Chosen Solution Must the new battery be taped or glued down? What happens if I leave it loose in the phone? Hi @newdouglas, In general, the phone will work fine without gluing down the battery, but personally I’d advise against it. There are a lot of delicate parts inside an iPhone and having the battery loose means it can move around when the phone gets bumped or dropped and could possibly damage something else....

Chosen Solution Yesterday when I was texting the brightness suddenly dropped to +-50%. And no my brightness is not set automatically. When I change the brightness, from 0% to 100%, after 50% the screen brightness doesn’t change. And this happend all of the sudden. Same after restarting. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? maybe you put it on automatic brightness mode, uncheck it…or u need to reset the setting of the ,but dont forget to back up data...

Chosen Solution Hey, So I ordered an iPhone 5c screen from aliexpress, recieved it and replaced it with the help of youtube video. But now the problem is that there’s only backlight but no picture. though the touch works just fine. I know it because i can hear it when i type on password screen. Also note that I was extra careful while installing the display and I didn’t place the long screw in the wrong screw hole, also I didn’t bend the IC....

What can i do? elizabethhewlett2013 you are not giving us a lot of information here. It will help if you tell us what model your Toshiba is as well as what OS the computer is using. From what you are saying thus far it sounds like your hard drive has failed....

The phone turns on fine, but i cannot slide to unlock or slide to power off, it seems unresponsive to finger touch…. I have done a hard reboot, i have restored the phone from the recovery boot and plugging into iTunes, all of which have failed to make the screen touch work....
