Chosen Solution I have an galaxy S5 that has an pretty issue with its screen. Half of the screen is unresponsive! The screen still works but half the touchscreen responds. I have some questions and any help would be greatly appreciated! Chosen Solution My phone has done this sort of “flickering” trough the different brightnesses for a while. Now it has begun going pitch black and I can’t get the screen on unless I use my both hands to create some pressure by gently twisting my phone from the edges while pressing the lock button. There are few cracks in the screen, sure, but my other phones have not done this. Any ideas?...

Chosen Solution My laptop screen is broken , I threw a pair of scissors and it like hit the screen but the screen did not crack , now it’s turning all different colors and I can’t do anything with it @gracie_03 yes that sounds like a broken LCD. You will have to replace the display. If you tell us what model your Dell is we can most likely provide you with the information on how to change it....

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone for a hot sec in the ocean while taking pics, it appears that everything else is functioning, I can hear sound, it comes on fine, it charges fine but I cannot see anything. I already bought a new phone but I needed to extract the information using Q-pair out of the damaged phone into the new phone. Chosen Solution Is it necessary to backup data for changing charging port of moto g 4 plus It is never a bad idea to backup your data. The easiest way is to go to a place with fast Wi-Fi Then on the phone connect to it. Then in the phone goto Settings –> Backup and Reset and Sync your phone once. This will put everything in your google account. If you have the photos app, make sure the photos are backed up to your google account as well....

Chosen Solution Does anyone have a good place to go to find service manuals, not user or owner manuals, but the manuals used to repair items at say a depot or repair center? @caperry8 there are no single repositories. You will have to scour the depth of the internet depending on the make, model and type of device, to find repair manuals. Careful of pay-for-service sites. Lots of trash out there....

Chosen Solution I have a Hp 15 and both shift keys are not working. yes my one shift key is not working Plug in an external keyboard, do they work now? If no, try the steps below. Go to Control Panel then look for Ease of Access Click on Change how your keyboard works. Uncheck where it says Turn on Sticky Keys and click OK. Chosen Solution I am trying to get into repair/ improve my repairing skills primarily of the various damaged electronics we have lying around but also noticed on the site there are teardown guides and I’m wondering if that is a good way to expand my knowledge/ skills is to teardown phones and other things like lawnmowers for example even if they work. Is that a good idea? I’m afraid if I do teardown something that works I won’t be able to get it going again and not have a clue why it’s not working....

Chosen Solution I bought an ‘07 Equinox recently. The previous owner had it sitting for 5 or 6 months. I am having an issue. The Service Tire Monitoring System and Service Stabilitrak warnings are on. The ABS light was on for a week and suddenly went out. The TPMS isn’t registering my rear tires. When I drive over 40-45 MPH and step on the brake at a light sometimes the car will jerk....

Chosen Solution are those pads or whatever they are important? i just noticed mine has bottom one removed and top 2 are not conected, it says zero_f_wifi2_c type, i couldn’t find anything about it, wifi is still working but i think it has some range problems tho also, if they’re important, would soldering/attaching foil or something fix it? In most cases circuitry does have a function ;-} It maybe what it does may not be important to you....

Chosen Solution I ordered & installed a replacement battery for my mid-2010 17” MacBook Pro. I tried to calibrate it per the iFixit instructions, but when I was trying to run down the battery, the computer shut down for no reason at about 80% battery. After I plugged it into a power supply I was able to start it again and it still showed 80% battery and then I let it sit overnight to die for the battery calibration (I did not keep an eye on it so I don’t know at which point it crashed, and I let it charge in the morning for several hours before using it again)....

Chosen Solution After changing the front glass of iPad Air (A1474 Model) and turning the Power on the iPad comes on with Apple symbol than turns off than on than off than on and keeps going this way. Anyone that experimented this problem. Any feed back will be appreciated. Your iPad is boot-looping. If it was working properly prior to you doing the repair, then I would double check your work by following this guide....

Chosen Solution Hello. I have a 2016 Kenmore Elite side by side. Water dispenser and ice work fine. The problem is air in the water. I changed the filter and purged several gallons. Air bubbles are very prominent. The odd thing is that with the filter out there are still are air bubbles. I had the city come out to test outside line… all clear. I also noticed the back of the fridge was noisy when dispensing water so I replaced the water inlet valve....

It has 4 lines to be specific, one line at the top sometimes flicker (normal white line and brighter line) the 3 others are faded lines. Chosen Solution My 98 honda accord looses water and when filled can hear gurgling when driving but no water showing on the ground runs rough now can you please help with advise Like old turkey mentioned, check your plugs because you could be leaking through the manifold gasket, this would make the water disappear( out the tailpipe) and the plugs to foul and run rough.
