Customer brought in an Acer Aspire S7 saying for a number of months the system has failed to boot, suspected that the HDD wasn’t connected fully, these boot failures had been intermittent. I have checked the physical hdd and all seems ok (as manufacturer intended, not one bit of tampering) But on boot I get a warning and an option to press CTRL+I, if I don’t it seems to boot normally on the occasions I have tried but if I press CTRL+I I get the screen below....

Chosen Solution I have a rattle under my engine that starts at ~25 mph and disappears after accelerating to 35 mph. I have a vehicle that does the same thing and it was just the idle of the motor making the exhaust slap against a piece of tin that kinda wraps around the muffler close to were the muffler bolts to the motor. Can also u a long rod as a stethoscope and put your ear to one end and touch the other end around the spot where you hear the noise....

Go to p.99 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the DC-In cable - supplier example only. The supplier example was only to show what the cable might cost. There are other suppliers online. Just search for Dell E6420 DC-In cable to get results for suppliers that suit you.
Chosen Solution I just replaced the battery in my early 2013 13" Mac Book Pro Retina. Followed all of the iFixit directions. Battery percentage shows the lightning bolt like it’s charging (says 0%). When I initially plugged it in the orange light was on, but now it’s green (still shows 0%). When I unplug from the power source it turns off immediately. I reset the SMC, but nothing changed. Did I do something wrong during the install?...
Chosen Solution I ordered a replacement battery and it doesn’t seem to fit. I assume I don’t take off the silver cover and yellow tape that is over the wires. Watch from beginning up to 3:45 to removal of the PCB with the charging port. From here it is clear the port is soldered in, so you can try to find a whole new PCB, or desolder the old port and solder in a new one....
Chosen Solution I recently purchased a 120hz 4k Sony TV and I was able to use it as a 4k display with my pc until it suddenly stopped working. Now whenever I use any of the hdmi ports on my gpu it displays a green artifacted screen. It only occurs with my 3070, and thus particular TV, my monitors provide a fine connection and when I connect it to different TV’s it is also fine....

I tired to use it and it seems the resistance is stuck on a very high level making it almost impossible to use for a long amount of time. Chosen Solution Hi, I managed to reverse the polarity on the DC input for my laptop (cheap travel power supply with adapters). Laptop went out, reboot via battery was possible and the laptop ran until the battery was dead. My hope is that i just smoked a fuse or a diode protecting the mainboard itself. I took the laptop apart to take pictures of the DC input area. I have some experience in soldering (little in SMD), have a multimeter and an oscilloscope to debug....

Chosen Solution Screen on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is stuck on opening screen display. Cannot be turned off or changed. hold the Home+ VolUp + Power all together for approximately 20-25 seconds, or until your phone reboots. It will reboot into a recovery mode, which will let you do a factory reset. Running this reset should fix your issue. if it does not, continue with a full reload hold the Home+ VolDown + Power all together for approximately 20-25 seconds, or until your phone reboots....

Have you tried holding down the power button for 1 minute, and re-press the button every minute for a total of 5 minutes. This works a lot. Especially with RCA. Then plug it back in your charger and then check on it in about 20-30 minutes....
Chosen Solution hi, the sd card is stuck in tablete does not come out with the click. seems stuck help thanks I have this same issue. I managed to get my stuck card out by gently rocking it from side to side using an unfolded paperclip end. You can barely touch an edge because of how deep the card is in, but it’s just enough. Each rocking motion moves it ever so slightly until the card can be grabbed....
