Was able to do a factory reset before the last shut down, no change in behavior. Could this be the mainboard shutting down the unit? Hey Alan, It’s my understanding that the ribbon cable that connects the display to the camera uses a zero insertion force (ZIF) connector. In my experience, there is a locking flap on the cable insertion point. If that flap is in the up position, the cable easily slips into (and out of) this connector....
Chosen Solution Hi, My dad’s phone (LG G2 D802) got wet and I managed to replace it’s screen (the entire display assembly). After the replacement, the phone turns on and the screen work just fine. The problem is that when answering an incoming phone (or calling), the screen turns black and you cannot hear the caller’s voice (you can hear the sound from the mic on the other side though). I think I may have damaged the ear speaker....

Noticed after BigSur update, but not sure if it was already like that before the update. There is a light pipe which directs the light from one of the backlight LED’s. Chosen Solution Driver side window wont roll down. I can hear the motor turning. Is this a fix that I wont need to take to a repair shop? I would at least take off the inside panel and look at the regulator arms. If you hear the motor working when you push the switch you know that all of that is ok. The are regulator arms in the door that move the window up and down....
Chosen Solution The AC adaptor was plugged into the G4 and got stepped on. The plug tip broke off in the port. Now I can get the green light on the jack to light up if I place it in correctly (just so) but no power on or charging indications. How do I open up the unit or check for power to the battery? Tried out several methods: Cloning old hard drive to new - then I replaced it and I got flashing folder. Tried resting PRAM (cmd+option+P+R) - still the same. It did not even recognize it. Then I tried to install from my OSX flash - opened Disk Utility - formated everything - Journaled + GUID....

I changed the screen, and at first it told me that Touch ID cannot be set up. I found out the home extension flex was torn so I replaced that. Chosen Solution I just replaced my screen on my versa 1 with a Ifixit replacement. I thought the screen would come with adhesive to reattach the screen, but it doesn’t. How do I reattach the screen so I can start using my watch again? I use T7000 glue. Run a small bead round the watch and place the screen in position. Wrap with elastic bands to keep the screen seated properly and leave for 24 hrs to cure properly....
Chosen Solution We have a whirlpool side by side refrigerator with digital temperature controls. Came with the ice and water dispenser too. Freezer temperature seems to work fine. But the fridge temp won’t stay true to its temperature. We set the recommended temperature to 37 but it froze stuff. We set it up to about 39 or 40 but it would come out lukewarm to maybe room temperature. When we put it back to 37, it froze stuff again....
