Chosen Solution When I charge the DSI XL the orange charging light starts blinking and when i try to turn it on the blue light turns on for a millisecond and Dosnt’t turn on. The charging cable is cleaned and there is no wires broken. How can I fix this or at least what part of the ds its causing this? If you have replaced the battery and the issue remains, the motherboard is the issue....

The guide on this site only shows how to replace the display assembly, I’ve found the glass itself for sale much cheaper. My question: is it possible to replace just the glass, or do I need to swap the entire display assembly?...

Chosen Solution I used ifixit guide for this glass replacement after purchasing a replacement glass and tools from ifixit. My new glass however keeps sliding down when the MacBook Pro is open, i.e. with the screen in the upright position. I did not apply the heat gun in the reverse of step 17. My questions are Should I apply the heatgun to get the glue to take properly. If yes to 1, so I need to disassemble the MacBook Pro to do this, or can I just do it on the fully assembled unit....

When I insert the pin I can kind of use it but it doesn’t sound right. Muffled with lots of noise/static. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the mic apart! Chosen Solution I got this iMac used, the previous owner told me the connector to display on motherboard had broken off. I had the connector replaced by a professional repair shop, but the screen still won’t turn on. Not just backlight, the screen is completely off, not even showing in system information. (I tried to shine a flashlight into it, nothing) If I hook it up to an external monitor, it works as the only display device, so I think the video card is fine....

The pixel seem to have a freezelike behavior, as you can see the old content on the screen when I switch it. On one of the videos I move the screen back and forward, which changes the flickering....

Chosen Solution My ASUS X555Y series laptop, if having a couple issues; After I unplug my laptop; if it goes don 2% (100% down to to 98%) the screen light starts to flicker, constantly untill I plug it back in. My wifi network; will not stay connected, it will remain active for a period of time before kicking me off, having to reboot my computer as i cannot simply reconnect. My drivers were recently updated, so I know thats not the issue, im leaning towards havig to replace the battery, and possibly either replace the cards or reflow them....

Chosen Solution i have an iphone 7 that i’m rehabbing for sale. the only issue is with siri. if i hold down the home button (yes “press home for siri” is on) i see the siri swirly circle above the home button, but as soon as i release, it goes away (not the usual behavior in other phones). also, if i turn on “Listen for ‘Hey Siri’” it goes through the voice training steps, but every time it asks me to “say hey siri into your iphone” it immediately swipes left and shows me the message again, but stays on “1 of 5” as if it’s not registering anything....
Chosen Solution All of the sudden my sound has stopped to work, when I click on the sound icon, the volume is all the way down and is locked. The volume buttons when pressed, do the same thing, the volume icon has a circle and a dash inside it. When I plug in head phones, the same thing no sound whatsoever. Under system preferences/sound/output it says that there are no output devices found, and the Input devices same thing no output devices found, and the output volume at the bottom of sound preferences is shown as mute, and mute cannot be unchecked....

Chosen Solution I replaced the digitizer and in the process the strip on the lcd (it’s thicker and seems like it is foam) has been roughed up…. Is there any replacement products I can use? I don’t see anything about this anywhere…Also While I have you…. Some areas of the new digitizer act erratic. Where could the issue be? This is the foam gasket. It is almost impossible to buy the correct one because nobody seems to care about quality repairs....
Chosen Solution Was previously erratic as was a wireless connection. Now the Airport icon doesn’t show in toolbar, but get wireless connection regardless. Irritating though! sounds like you switched the airport status icon off check the status like described here (click)
Chosen Solution Was replacing crack screen and tested by inserting ribbon in connector and it worked. When I took off to apply adhesive I broke piece off on connector and now it will not work. Am I able to replace connector on motherboard? @micbob4 that is Motorola connector 09014221001W which is a CONN,ZIF, 61 PIN,0.9MM HIGH, 13.8 LONG. The only online connection I can find is on here You can of course try to match it with something that mouser....
