Chosen Solution Hi, I have an iPod Classic 6th Generation 80GB, which was upgraded to work with a micro SD card. I am using an iFlash Solo board with a 64GB SanDisk Ultra Micro SD card (Recommended on iFlash.xyz). The iPod works fine for a while, but then it begins to act up. Chosen Solution Samsung TV Model UN6007000 (Smart TV) works fine when turned on. After continuous viewing/use of about 15 minutes or so, the picture disappears and the screen turns snowy (white background with dots covering the entire screen). This has happened several times. When we turn off the TV and turn it back on after 30 minutes, it may work for a short while. I have done a picture test and it came back as picture is working fine....

Chosen Solution The power supply to my ps4 went out, it is the 500gb ps4 part of the uncharted collection bundle. Research shows that it has an adp-200er power supply with a 4 pin connector. Could I replace this with an adp-240cr since the 200er seems impossible to find? Thanks. Just confirming, not interchangeable. The receptors that accept the 2 long prongs that come off the motherboard run horizontally, not vertically so 200cr will not fit in a 200er model and vice versa....

Chosen Solution Hello Im having a problem with my iPhone screen it shows different color vertical lines and white area on top after putting it back ( before i removed it was working probably ), and its not long screw damage or because of oil , i tried another screen and it works probably . i appreciate any fast help , thanks in advance :) If your replacement screen has these lines and white area but other screens do not, then it sounds like you have a defective replacement screen....

I am interested in placing a couple of CD’s on this unit, but do not have any of the cords et al nor do I know what I need. get a PC or Mac with a CD drive install ITunes use Itunes to rip your CDs to Apple format transfer using the charge cable from PC to iPod You may need an older version of iTunes....

Chosen Solution The HDD of my wife’s Mac book pro died. Due to the natur of her work we went buying another one which gave me time to dig into the repair. Hence, I created a bootable USB with Lion Mountain on it, ordered a new Toshiba HDD and was able to install this, it seems to work as well when I start the Mac but then … In recovery mode : I see a HDD disk 1 named “Mac OS Base system” greyed out and so, unable to repartion....

Chosen Solution So I have a Samsung UN55J6200AFXZA that has no stand by light. I’ve done a little research from here but can’t find my specific problem. So I’ve replaced the power supply thinking that’s was the issue but no go. Both boards make the same clicking noise from the relay. I started unplugging cables and I believe i unplugged the one going to the screen, as it was the cable from the power supply that went onto the side with the screen not the main board, and got the standby light to blink 6 times and the relay stopped clicking....

Chosen Solution Hi, My Nexus 5X recently got wet. It was dismantled and dried and I installed a new battery. However, the screen occasionally goes very dark. When I dismantled it again and made sure everything was where it should be the screen became operational. However, this is becoming a daily issue. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Chosen Solution My phone screen keeps turning itself on and displaying an alert that says please turn your handset off/ on and then two options at the bottom that say ok or cancel and at the top left there’s a back option. It doesn’t look very official and I don’t know why my phone would be giving me that alert. Next time it happens I’ll screenshot and upload it. Chosen Solution I;ve not done an Iphone 6 screen replacement before and have brought a complete unit, LCD, Digitizer, Camera and home button. My question is, If I swap to use the original home button and LCD back plate with cable will the touch ID function as normal? Yes as long as you use the original undamaged full home button assembly you should still have the touch ID function. You would loose the touch ID function if you replace the original home button assembly....

Outside of the teardown, I doubt any of us have had a chance to work on one yet. Chosen Solution So i tried removing my phone battery of the Samsung A20 but i think i punctured a tiny hole. No flames, however there is a smell to it. Should i dispose of it. If it smells, get rid of it. Applies to a lot of things in life, not just electronics repairs. Yes, you should throw it away. It can lead to other problems!!

Chosen Solution Hi, I was recently given a coveted 2005 Furby. It’s been stored in the original box. The previous owner was certain it worked perfectly but I have put in fresh batteries and even reset the furby and although it talks and responds verbally to verbal commands it hasn’t moved once. Chosen Solution Hi Evr1 I repair Phones on my time off from my day job. My question is , My friend gave me his Daughters Iphone 5C to fix. It was completely dead when I got it and would not accept a charge from genuine apple cable etc. I opened it up and replaced the charging port with no success, then the Battery. It now switched on with new battery and charged up however I kept getting the ’ This Cable or Accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this Iphone ’ sometimes it will charge and sometimes not, I took a look at the inside again and saw that a tiny component was sitting oddly near the lightning port flex connector, See picture above ( apologies for poor image, taken on old Xperia :) ....

When i booted my phone… the touchscreen does not work!?!? power button and the home button work because when i place my thumb on it, it responds.. but the screen is not working whenever im swiping with my finger… Can someone please explain why?...
