Chosen Solution The backlight in my clevo P950EP6 (15.6" defiance v from pcspecialist) has come loose. If I tilt the screen too far back (past about 80 degrees) the backlight turns off, rendering the display largely illegible. I’ve already checked the status of the motherboard connectors and both are fine, so I believe the connector on the display end is loose. Does anyone have experience getting into these laptops? I’d like to be able to fix it without sending it back because I really don’t want to wait on a company to fix it and lose work time in the process....

Chosen Solution I have a functional Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T210R, but it is too slow. Is it possible to upgrade the motherboard to have more RAM? I saw this motherboard containing 8GB, but I am not sure if that is RAM or storage space. Chosen Solution I recently replaced the battery on an Apple Watch Series 4 44mm. I removed the force touch sensor completely and did not replace it. The Watch now shows a charging symbol when on the charger but the battery percentage stays at zero. Also, almost every time the Watch is powered on it says “Wrong passcode, try again in 10 minutes". According to the owner of the Watch, even after 10 minutes the right passcode still doesn’t work....

Chosen Solution I have picked up my sisters old Macbook Core 2 Duo 2008 - 2.1ghz, It works fine with External Screen but the Internal Screen will not turn on/detect? Has anybody ever experienced/repaired this? Just for info, I have already: Reset PRAM/NVRAM Tried a working inverter and LVDS cable from a tested working macbook of the same age. Changed the battery connector/sleep switch for a tested working one. It boots fine and external monitor works perfect via Mini DVI....

Chosen Solution Hey guys, Recently bought an early 2015 MacBook Pro 13" which had light water damage. Opened it up and gave it a quick clean (rice everywhere…) Only problem I can see is the MacBook can see the battery but wont charge and says it needs replacing (only 17 cycles) The MacBook only works when connected to the charger. Now I have a 2014 MacBook Pro 13" which functions normally....

Chosen Solution it is actually a “beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep” code, 7 beeps. no start screen nothing please help.. theo, seven beeps usually indicates a processor problem. It is very seldom that the processor actually fails, it is most likely a motherboard issue. We may get more specific if you let us know which Dell you have. See if you can perform a Pre Boot System Assessment (PSA Diagnostic) by holding the “Fn” while rebooting the system....

Chosen Solution I recently picked up a freight damaged saturn commercial freezer. It was dropped by the Looks of it and the heat exchanger had broken free of the Compressor. After changing the oil (polyoster 32) replacing the dryer, and reattaching all connections, I evacuated the system and recharged it with r404a. It now cools down to 18 but it Should get down to -10. Evaporator is functioning Fine and It’s a new unit so all coils are clean....

Chosen Solution Hi, I just removed my old HDD, just to install an SDD in the HDD slot, and an HDD (1TB SATA on SATA-to-IDE-cart) in my Optical Slot. Everything seems to have gone smoothly, except… For seemingly no reason, my CPU fan goes to 3500 (CPU at 30-60°C), and my HDD fan to 1300 (HDD at 50°C). I think, at least the CPU fan shouldn’t do so… I already tried resetting the SMC, and reopened it to look if I maybe removed or forgot to reattach a temperature sensor, but both did not bring any solution at all....

Also, do I need to buy adhesive to reattach the screen or is the force touch gasket the adhesive? You’ll likely want to get both. You can’t re-use the adhesive and in the process of opening you may damage to force touch....

I don’t want to fry it. firstrcr you will need a different AC adapter. Get an inexpensive EU Travel Wall Charger. look at your power supply, it usually says INPUT : AC (alternate current)120-220 V , or something like it . look ho much it accepts....

Chosen Solution Is it recommended to put hard drives to sleep when idle? My setting is set at never. Just wondering if it saves wear and tear. Just replaced failed hard drive. Yes, putting the drive to sleep when idle will be less wear on a traditional drive. But! It will take a bit of time for the system to wake up which might be a bother. You might want to look at upgrading to a SSD....

Chosen Solution I’ve got a mid 2010 21.5” iMac. I installed Mojave with the patch tool provided by Dosdude1. Since then my iMac keeps rebooting over and over again. And I could not do an Internet recovery mode for some reason so I took out the SSD, cloned it from another Mac and reinstalled it. Still the same problem. Did a PRAM reset and this came up (see pic) Problem not solved....

Chosen Solution When i switch power on it goes on for a second then the red light blinks 4 timmes with gaps in between have tried to do factory re set according to internet no luck jan cusack, you did not tell us what model your TV is. But most common error is the LD board which controls the backlight.

I use Samsung service packs (I know expensive but quality is fantastic) I give 3 Months Warranty on all repairs on any manufacturing faults The phone is back yesterday which a badly coloured lcd with lines and circles and a wide range of colours. Chosen Solution I’ve had these earbuds for about 2 months now, but after one subway ride. The right side of the earbuds doesn’t work anymore. The right earbud has no sound, the in-line mic along with the controls doesn’t work. It’s not my phones problem because I tried using the same earbuds on different devices. FYI my left earbud has sound, that’s all I have going with these earbuds. Fixes? Thank you beforehand....

Chosen Solution So, I’m repairing a phone (iPhone 11 Pro max) but the phones been repaired so many times the pentalobe screws have worn and I can’t extract it. I’ve youtubed it and things but I think I need an extraction tool. Anything on the market? I’ve dealt with this issue a few times with eBay phones, Some ways I dealt with rounded bottom screws was to superglue the bit to the screw and let it sit there for like a day and that trick worked....
