Chosen Solution Replaced the loudspeaker on my iPhone 6s, and during the process the lightning cable assembly connector popped off the ribbon cable. It’s stuck in the logic board with seemingly no way to remove it without risking damage. Any suggestions? @uhoh yup looks pretty chewed up. It looks like the damage is already done. Is it necessary for me to drain the capacitors before putting a new plug on it or is it safe to just simply cut off the old plug and put a new one on? Chosen Solution I have an RS265LBBP side by side with water and ice in the freezer door. Ice maker works and fills bucket but ice auger does not dispense ice. After much checking of switch on dispenser, processor board, relays on board. etc., it turns out that one of the two wires going to the ice switch on the door, (the one you press to get ice), was cut. The break is inside the door wall about 3 inches from the top....

Chosen Solution Hi there, The touch screen was working as normal when I started using the tablet. Some minutes after I found out by chance that part of the screen was cracked. A bit after, the upper half of the touch screen stopped working. I restarted the device and the upper half continued bot working so I restarted it again and the whole touch screen stopped responding. So, after many restarts, the display works, and I can see the lock screen but it doesn’t respond to touch....

Everything seemed to have went well, until I started up the computer. The screen is all grey with a couple of purple and green lines. The whole screen is jammed in the leftside of the monitor and repeats in pieces over to the right....

I did a search on ebay and the sim card reader for this phone costs around $2.99. So it is cheap. Chosen Solution I purchased 2x 4GB PC3-L 12800s DDR3 1600MHz and installed both sticks, got 3 beeps when trying to boot. I removed 1 new stick and installed old 1GB stick and Mac booted up just fine. I then found out that these were the wrong RAM for my mac and so I removed the new RAM and bought and installed 2x 4GB PC3-8500 DDR3 1066MHz and got the 3 beeps again....
Chosen Solution The error message from diagnostics suggests the fan has busted apparently but mentions the HDD. Just white screen and boot load progress that never gets further than half way. Note that i can still SSH to this machine over wifi and ethernet just fine and have backed up the HDD doing this. There is no guide on this lovely site for replacing a fan it seems (other than the optical drive fan)....

I’ve taken the back panel apart and upon close inspection, there seems to be a VERY likely culprit. You can also find a post on the XDA Developers forum as well. If you are new to using a custom ROM, I recommend that you read through the details of the post in each link to understand what you are doing and always recommend doing a backup of the stock ROM that came with the phone in case some features of the custom ROM are not supported....
Chosen Solution When I went to try and turn on this Magic Mouse, the mouse did not turned on. When I went to change the batteries, I found corrosion on the battery terminals. I changed the batteries anyway, and the mouse didn’t work. It also seems like the battery acid may have gotten inside the mouse, since this contact is not working correctly and does not spring back up. I was able to fix it a little bit and get it to spring up again, but it still sticks....
