You can check the the driver board. That is the board where flat ribbon cables from the T-con board connect to. There are small ribbon cables that enter the panel. Carefully check to see if you can find some obviously damaged component on that. The board itself cannot be replaced by the DIY’er due to how the ribbon cables are fastened (bonded to the panel)....

Just have done so myself there is no way to remove the scratch the lens protector is the culpable… each time it shut off or open if something as push on it it will scrath the lens and since it is a very thin film it cannot be repair ....
Chosen Solution The other day I dropped my phone (quite hard I must admit) and later I noticed a grid of red dots on the screen. Blue dots followed, green ones were next, then they started duplicating a few mm over. This was annoying but the next day a series of red lines developed running vertically. A few days later and now the screen randomly flickers green. I would think this would be the result of a loose screen cable but on the first day, I took the screen off and replugged all the cables with no improvment....

I got that done but after reassembling the macbook there is no display, keyboard backlit or apple logo. I already tried the flashlight trick and nothing shows up in the screen. And it took trying to turn on 3 plus days before screen came on. Tried the function F8 shift and power over 6 times did not work. What to do ? It sounds like your computer automatically went into hibernate mode when the battery got real low, and you couldn’t get it out of hibernate....

Unfortunately though the sleep light that pulsates on the front of the mac is no longer working. Moreover, the computer now suddenly switches off from time to time. When it does this there is no warning, nor is there an error report upon switching the computer back on. Sometimes it’s when the computer is starting to run low (for example it just happened now with the battery at 20%)....

The thing that broke was like a clip-holder which broke off for the water tube. Any suggestion on either how to find a replacement of the plastic-thing or how keep the tube in place in some way. Ive allready tried with a steelwire but the tube pops out when brewing due to the high pressure....

You can’t extract the key from the sensor or the CPU because they are designed to take the key to their graves....

If that is the case, the risk is that you either damaged the flex on the Home Button or the Home Button Flex Link on the replacement screen is damaged. Do a thorough visual inspection, preferably with magnification, of the Home button and it’s flex cables to see if there are any tears....
