However, I noticed that there wasn’t any sound coming from the system. It listed both the internal speakers and headphone jack in the system prefs, but no sound came out of either. Chosen Solution I have purchased a fully working Samsung Galaxy S9 and will be swapping the motherboard from the old phone to new phone. ( will be cleaning the original motherboard from water damaged phone using some 99.9 isopropyl alcohol prior to swap and hope for the best, I believe the motherboard is OK and just the screen on the original phone was damaged.) What I need to know now is on the new phone prior to swap, do i need to go through setting up the new phone prior to motherboard swap or do I swap before doing phone setup or does it not make any difference either way?...
Chosen Solution I just pulled out my camera ( Canon Vixia HF R500) for the first time in a while. I fully charged the battery (this happens with battery and with the battery out and its plugged directly into an outlet). I turned on the camera and it had me choose a language and set up the time and date. As soon as I finished and it went into video mode, the screen is just scrambled with pink and purple lines....
Chosen Solution I replaced the screen/digitizer on my daughter’s Ipad mini. it powers on and seems to function with the touches etc but the screen flickers and looks horrid. It gets brighter and then dimmer every 5-10 seconds and you can see the previous screen faintly behind the current image, especially when the light gets dimmer. There are also horizontal and vertical lines distorting the image. I didn’t glue down the cover yet and am wondering if maybe the LCD connector isn’t seated properly....
Chosen Solution I replaced the digitizer and battery on my iPhone SE. I’ve done this several times before and I was very careful, as always. However, when switching on the iPhone - half of the screen is black. Touch is working on the black side. I tested two more new digitizers - same problem! My conclusion is that the LCD connector has become broken/defective. BUT I’ve examined it very closely and it looks fine....
Chosen Solution I came across this Dell Inspiron 7591 2-in-1, and it works fine, the screen does work, parts of the screen’s touchscreen capability doesn’t work at all. The screen has some cracks, and some of the back-light is leaking through parts of the display, which looks horrible if the image shown is black. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement display? This display is a 4K display which makes me worried they don’t make 4K replacement display’s for this device....

Chosen Solution The taillight and dashlight and interior lights won’t come on , I tried putting a fuse in on the passenger left side and it just keeps blowing them instantly no matter what size the fuse is Hi @kmolter , If the fuse keeps blowing it means that there is a short circuit to earth somewhere in the wires supplying power to the tail lights/interior light/dashlights. This could be caused by the wire insulation being broken and the exposed wire is touching the frame of the car....

Chosen Solution I was given a 2008 Mac Pro today. I put a hard drive in it, made a MacOS USB Drive and tried to install the OS. Upon booting from the USB, I’m greeted with the normal Apple screen.
