So if I buy a new it’s not possible to reprogram the Face ID , what’s are the options for fixing them? Chosen Solution My 16g 1st generation iPhone won’t charge. I have tried the USB port on my Imac, the wall charger and my car charger as well as chargers at the local apple store. Since it is off warranty, the Genius bar folks were of no help. The battery symbol in the upper right corner never shows the “charging” mode. I would try replacing the battery, if that doesn’t work it could be you need to replace the logic board....
Chosen Solution Dealership replaced transmission, two new hubs for the front, there is still howling at speeds of 30 and above, feels like something is holding car back and have went from 25mpg to 17.8. Car slows itself without me braking. I also had an alignment. At one point, traction control light, service stabilatrak, AWD off, abs, lights all came on but went off after 7 hours or so. Chosen Solution Hi, I just had to replace my damaged LCD display and after replacing it a single touch line is not working anymore. It the last app line before the dock or in the calculator the line with the numbers 4,5,6 and the +. Do I have to replace the whole touch? Chosen Solution Here’s me asking yet another question about this obsolete piece of history- I performed a CPU upgrade from the stock C2D T7300 to a T9300 so I could use the Dosdude1 patcher. There’s a slight problem though- the CPU reports as 400 MHz in “About this Mac”. Is this fixable? I’m going to guess that the CPU is actually running at the correct clock frequency, but since MacOS doesn’t recognize it (this wasn’t a CPU that was offered with this computer), the speed is being reported incorrectly....
Chosen Solution After lcd and back glass replacement restart when i am calling. open camera, and the back camera not working. Replacing the back glass on an iPhone 8 is a pretty serious repair. Did you do this yourself or was it done by a shop? The reason I ask is that to do this job properly, everything has to be removed from the housing prior to breaking the glass off....
Chosen Solution I bought an iPhone 3G for $5 from a friend. It was known to have water damage – she dropped it in a puddle. Anyway, it seems to charge fine and is recognized by iTunes, although I’m not yet sure how long the charge will keep. If I get this working, I’ll probably attempt jailbreaking it to play with on T-Mobile. But so far, I can’t even use the main screen’s slider to unlock, giving me the impression it doesn’t recognize my finger trying to swipe it....

You don’t say why you are replacing your compressor. I would like to stress the safety issue with the pressurized system. To do it by the book the freon should be captured and reused but there are so many after market DIY a/c repair products and so much counterfeit freon on the market I prefer to replace the freon with new gas and hope it is actually the real stuff and if it isn’t it will at least be all the same type!...

Chosen Solution I replaced a cracked lcd digitizer. Now when I hit the home or power button, the screen lights up and I can see everything for a split second, then everything goes black again. It’s still on and for that split second everything looks as it should. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting the flex cables and the battery flex cable, same thing. Everything is snug and seems as it should be....

Ordered both the screen and button from iFixit, yet the button does not seem to sit properly in the screen, as if the hole is too small. Is it expected to fit in the hole or “float” on the backside? I also ordered a replacement home button bracket, but it slightly differs from the original as there isn’t a little metal “button” on the inside that appears to be pressed against the center actuator of the button....

I took it apart and after inspecting the LCD, I couldn’t find any part number markings that gave me any results on searx, aliexpress or ebay. I figured that this screen is probably using a somewhat standard protocol and pinout. Chosen Solution I have a 2013 MacBook Air 11” A1465 and I recently developed this screen discolouration and flickering but only in the middle and slightly to the left of the screen in a vertical strip like orientation.
